Babywearing safely

Keep your baby’s face visible and their chin off their chest. Use the newborn position until they have steady head and neck control, and check with your pediatrician before babywearing a premature or low birth weight baby.

Common questions

Cotton or air mesh?
Air mesh if you are mostly carrying in warm weather; cotton if you want something that looks a bit less technical.

Can I use the hip seat on its own with a newborn?
No — use the full carrier with the newborn position until your baby can sit unsupported. The bare hip seat is for older babies and toddlers.

Does it work for back carrying?
Yes, once your baby has solid trunk control. Practice the first few times with another adult present.
